Terms & Conditions
The agreement between you and InviteHub. Plain English, no traps.
1. Acceptance
By using this website you accept these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the service. Where a section refers to functionality that does not yet exist in this build, it takes effect when that functionality launches.
2. Template usage
Every template on InviteHub — the artwork, layouts, ornaments and typographic arrangements — is the property of InviteHub and is licensed to you, not sold.
You may:
- Use any template to create invitations for your own events, personal or commercial.
- Personalise the wording, colours, fonts and photographs however you wish.
- Share the resulting invitation with as many guests as you like, and print it.
You may not:
- Resell, redistribute or sub-license the templates themselves, modified or otherwise.
- Offer the templates as part of a competing invitation product or template library.
- Extract the artwork for use unrelated to an invitation you are actually creating.
- Claim authorship of the designs.
In short: the invitation you make is yours; the template it was made from stays ours.
3. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for what you put into an invitation. That includes making sure names and dates are spelled correctly, checking that the venue and directions are right before you send the link, keeping your account credentials private once accounts exist, and not sharing an invitation link with people the host did not intend to invite.
We do not proofread invitations, and we cannot recall a link once you have shared it.
4. Content responsibility
All text, photographs, music selections and other material you add remain your property. We claim no ownership over your content.
By uploading, you confirm that you own the content or have permission to use it, that it does not infringe anyone's copyright, trademark or privacy, and that you have the consent of identifiable people appearing in your photographs — particularly other people's children.
You grant InviteHub a limited licence to store, process and display your content solely for the purpose of running your invitation. This licence exists only so we can technically operate the service, ends when your invitation is deleted, and is never used for marketing without asking you first.
5. Invitation hosting
Creating, previewing and downloading invitations is free. Hosting an invitation online at its own link is a one-time ₹99 charge, as listed on the Pricing page. There is no duration limit and no subscription — your invitation stays live until you remove it.
If you remove an invitation, the link stops displaying it and shows a notice that the event has passed, and uploaded images are removed from storage.
6. Payment terms
Payments are processed by Razorpay. Prices are in Indian Rupees and inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Payment is a single, one-time charge for hosting — there is no subscription and nothing renews automatically.
Because hosting is delivered immediately on payment, purchases are generally non-refundable. If the service fails on our side — the invitation does not publish, or the link is unavailable through our fault — contact us and we will either fix it or refund you. Duplicate charges are always refunded.
7. Prohibited content
You must not use InviteHub to create or share anything that is:
- Unlawful, or that promotes or facilitates illegal activity.
- Hateful, harassing or discriminatory on any basis.
- Sexually explicit, or that sexualises minors in any way.
- Violent, threatening or intended to intimidate.
- Fraudulent — including fake events, phishing pages and impersonation of a real person or organisation.
- Infringing on someone else's copyright, trademark or other rights.
- Malware, or content designed to compromise a visitor's device.
- Bulk unsolicited commercial messaging disguised as an invitation.
We may remove content that breaches this section and suspend the account responsible, without a refund. Serious cases will be reported to the relevant authorities.
8. Service availability
We aim to keep the service running continuously but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability. Maintenance, third-party outages and events outside our control can all cause downtime. We are not liable for consequences arising from an outage, which is a good reason to also tell your close family the venue details the old-fashioned way.
9. Limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, InviteHub is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including missed events, guests who did not attend, or reputational harm. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the invitation in question.
10. Termination
You may stop using the service at any time and delete your invitations and account. We may suspend or terminate access where these terms are breached, where fraudulent activity is detected, or where required by law.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Chennai, Tamil Nadu have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
12. Changes
These terms may be updated as the service develops — most notably when accounts and payments launch. The revision date at the top of this page always reflects the current version, and continuing to use the service after a change constitutes acceptance.
13. Contact
Questions about these terms can go to legal@invitehub.example.com. These are placeholder details for the demonstration build.
